Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea, who began appearing as bit roles on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, began her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. In 2012 she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following her win of an award at The Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was an ongoing contestant on its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. She is only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Her family were obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a guide at the Irish National Stud in her beginning years. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to pursue as a profession and preferred to perform.
